  • Silver Poinsettias

Hello there...how are you this evening? I'm doing pretty well. I've decorated my house for my first Christmas in it, which I love! Here's my tree! 🎄

And of course I still make time for nail art! Here's one I'm very happy with! I'm excited about how the detail came out so clear. I'm not entirely sure if this image was meant to be a specific flower but it looks a lot like little poinsettias to me.

I enjoy Christmas manis and I tend to try and create some that aren't so obviously festive. A little covert, perhaps... What do you think? Does this pass as a version of a holiday mani?

Thank you for stopping by! Blessings to you...

    Supplies:

    Seche Clear - Base Coat

    A England - Heathcliff

A England - Let Me In

Essie - No Place Like Chrome

  • So Rouge

Hey there, how are you? I'm doing well. I'm more sleepy today than usual for a Saturday but that's alright. I get to relax today. What are your weekend plans? I decided to use the stunning Louboutin Rouge again the other day. The only other time I've worn it, I didn't add anything to it. This time I didn't add much, but it went a long way, I think.

So there you have it. Just simple studs and a couple stripes but it's definitely a striking mani. I used Essie's No place Like Chrome for the stripes and of course my trusty Seche Vite top coat.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a great afternoon!

  • Blues...

Hey there Saturday dwellers! It's always a great thing to get to the weekend. :) Here's a mani that just kind of came to be... I started with my base coat of Enchanted Polish's April 2014 and the little nail studs but knew it needed something more so I just started taping. I really do love using tape.

It's interesting how I refer to the Enchanted Polish as a pale lilac or lavender but paired with Midnite Meteor it compliments the blue and leans that direction in its hue. I love these polishes together!

I hope you have a great day!

    Supplies:

    Seche Clear - Base Coat

    Enchanted Polish - April 2014

    Picture Polish - Midnite Meteor

    Bundle Monster - Nail Studs

    Nail Art Tape

Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat

  • Unorthodox Annie

Hi there! How are you this evening? I'm a little tired...and it was my Monday. :/ Not that I'm complaining about a 3-day weekend but it is a little bit of a challenge to then get five days of work done in four... Oh well. It'll all work out. :)  I hope your week is off to a good start! I have a new-to-me Llarowe polish called Unorthodox Annie. It's a fabulous deep, wine red with an edge of plumb and the best part...it's a holo!

This is such an amazing polish! It's my favorite of my Llarowe polishes so far. Did you notice the picture I took in the sun? Soooo, gorgeous! I used nail art tape to section off the triangle accents to compliment the triangle studs. I think this ended up being a great look! I used to tape all the time but I don't as much as I used to. I always love the results.

I hope you have a great evening or day...whichever is ahead for you.

    Supplies:

    Seche Clear - Base Coat

    Llawroe - Unorthodox Annie

    A England - Fonteyn

    Bundle Monster - Triangle Studs

    Nail Art Tape

Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat

  • Blue Steel

Hi there! I hope you're having a good week so far. I'm doing pretty well, though not feeling too good today. Hopefully I'm not catching a bug... Well, the best part about today so far is getting to share a beautiful holo polish with you from ILNP (I Love Nail Polish) called Blue Steel. I've known about ILNP for quite some time but only recently purchased a few. All of them are just superb!

I found in the end that this polish has more of a teal edge to it than I expected from seeing the bottle and knowing the name. Not that I'm disappointed in any way, just an observation. The holo effect shifts to blue and green and even flashes a hint of orange here and there. It's so fabulous! I'm wearing three light coats sans base coat. I find that some holo polishes apply smoother without one though I normally always recommend a base. I added one accent stud on each of my ring fingers too in the end. It's difficult for me to wear one color without any extras. ;)

I hope you like Blue Steel and believe me, if you haven't tried ILNP yourself, you won't be disappointed when you do. Have a wonderful day and I hope to see you again soon.

    ILNP - Blue Steel

  • February Nail Art Challenge - 17

Hello, and hi to you! So... I'm going to use the saying, "better late than never" to open this post that I should have published yesterday. :/ Sorry about that. The nail art challenge theme yesterday was "studs". I love different studs for nails so I knew I couldn't miss this one. I chose the simple and perhaps classic with a twist approach (to use a style profile name from Julep). Here it is!

This is Annemarie from my February Julep Maven box. I was super surprised at how much I like it! It's a very rich color and I think it would go with a lot of skin tones. I hope you're having a great Tuesday and thank you for your support to me sharing my nail art ideas!

    Julep - Annemarie

  • Alter Ego

Today is a great day because I get to show you Alter Ego from Cirque! This has been available for a while now and was originally released as a collaboration with Arms & Armory which included an awesome special edition ring. Cirque recently offered this shade though sans ring which was more in my price range so even though I'm missing out on the ring, I have the polish!

This Polish is so pleasantly surpriseng! Before I saw it in person it seemed to be more of a black holo. Now that I have it on, it proudly displays its deep cocoa and gunmetal gray sides to it. I don't have anything else like it; it's definitely a one of a kind gem that I'm so excited to have.

I hope your afternoon is a wonderful one! Thanks for swinging by!

    Supplies:

    Seche Clear - Base Coat

    Cirque - Alter Ego

    Bundle Monster - Assorted Studs

Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat

  • Cirque Goodness!

Good morning! This is a simple mani that is nothing I started out thinking I would paint. I've been stamping like crazy lately so I planned to stamp again when I thought, I don't want to cover up the amazing goodness of this flawless red from Cirque! I absolutely love this indi-polish!

You can find this incredible Cirque polish and many others that all apply and wear like a dream (not to mention all have a hint of lavender) on cirquecolors.com. I used two coats plus top coat. I hope you have a fabulous Tuesday!

    Supplies:

    Seche Clear - Base Coat

    Cirque - Arcane Fire

Born Pretty Store - Assorted Nail Studs

Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat

  • Geometric Stamping

Hey there! So I really loved my Liquid Sand hombre from yesterday but I must say that I should probably use the darker color reversed near the cuticle because just from today the dark tips were wearing off. Oh well, an excuse to paint again! ;)

This evening I had a different plan but I ended up stamping and taping. I even painted two little studs to change things up a bit.

I LOVE this color, Diamond Weapon, from the latest Rainbow Honey collection: The Final Battle. It applies easily in two coats and is so versatile!

After the fabulous base of Diamond Weapon, I started to stamp. BTW, does anyone else make a big mess like I do stamping? Ha! The Konad special stamping polish in Black needs the most clean up for me...

I think I like the outcome even though the accent nail isn't quite what I planned. I love the Bundle Monster image though! It reminds me of detail Donatella Versace used a couple summers ago in her collection.

So this one will most likely stay on a bit but we'll see. Thanksgiving may need its own mani. Until next time, be well! :)

    Supplies:

    Seche Clear - Base Coat

    Rainbow Honey - Diamond Weapon

    Konad - Black
