  • Oh Louboutin...

Happy weekend to you. How are you today? I have been a major introvert and didn't leave my place at all today. I do love people, but sometimes it's very refreshing to just chill out on my own. I was given such an amazing Christmas gift from my boyfriend and I just have to share it with you! How great is my man!?

I just LOVE this color! It's a simple, rich navy cream but there's something special about it. It's nearly a one-coater too, but I always paint two. The inkwell-type cap is so comfortable to use, though it's a little shorter than the Rouge cap. I'm sure the Rouge is it's own design since it's THE Louboutin color.

So, as usual, I couldn't leave it alone... I have a few pictures below of art I added to this beauty. These two pics show a taped stiletto design with a gunmetal shade (Zoya, Claudine) to mimick the bottle.

And here I added Enchanted Polish's To Die For glitter on my ring fingers, then stamped with Bundle Monster's plate 604, Essie's No place Like Chrome and Picture Polish's Pandora for the dot accents. You just can't go wrong with navy!

I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend! Thanks for hangin in there with my picture-heavy post today! 😁

  • So Rouge

Hey there, how are you? I'm doing well. I'm more sleepy today than usual for a Saturday but that's alright. I get to relax today. What are your weekend plans? I decided to use the stunning Louboutin Rouge again the other day. The only other time I've worn it, I didn't add anything to it. This time I didn't add much, but it went a long way, I think.

So there you have it. Just simple studs and a couple stripes but it's definitely a striking mani. I used Essie's No place Like Chrome for the stripes and of course my trusty Seche Vite top coat.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a great afternoon!

  • Rouge | Louboutin

Happy weekend everyone! I am soooooo excited to show you a new polish today from the incredible Christian Louboutin. His flawless shoes adorn beautiful women and classy men around the world and all have the trademark red sole. The red sole actually came about by Mr. Louboutin painting the sole of a shoe red with nail polish so it's perfect that he would eventually release a line of polishes. I'm sure all of the colors in his palette will be fabulous but to choose just one, it had to be the red. I bring to you, Rouge Louboutin!

I am speechless by how artistic he made the bottles. All of the polish bottles feature this inkwell-type shape with the stiletto top. Of course I was curious as to how it would feel to apply the polish with such a cap but it was perfect. The weight was just right and it felt very natural. I don't know which company he worked with for the actual formula but it's flawless! It has a smidgen of a jelly side to it, this is actually three light coats, but is so smooth, not clumping, no bubbles and it dries relatively fast. I wanted the high gloss finish so I ended up with two top coats but it's also quite glossy on its own.

This is definitely the biggest splurge I've made on a bottle of polish but I just had to have it in my collection. I ordered it directly from the Louboutin website but I believe it's available through Saks Fifth Avenue too.

I hope you have a wonderful day! Thanks for stopping by.
